Heat 175ml oil and fry the onion until golden brown. Add 3-4 tomatoes (cut into pieces) and fry until the oil separates. Add 1kg bone-in meat. 2 spoons of garlic paste, 2 spoons of ginger paste, 1 cup of yoghurt, 2 potatoes peeled and cut into pieces and 1 packet of this spice mix (dissolved in ½ cup of water) add water, cover and cook over a low heat until the meat is tender is. Increase the heat and then cook until the oil separates from the sauce. Separately: Wash and soak 3+1/2 cups of rice. Boil 3l water add 3 spoons of salt and the soaked rice. Cook until the rice is ¾ done. Drain the rice. Step 4. Put the rice in a pot and pour the curry over it. Add the remaining rice on top. Cover and cook over a low heat until the rice is cooked. Approx. (5-10min).
